Standardizing EMR Data Across Primary Healthcare in Canada
The pan-Canadian Primary Health Care Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Minimum Data Set, (Version 1.1,2022) defines 47 core data elements and 58 supplementary data elements to standardize and enhance the capture, use, and exchange of EMR data in primary health care settings. This framework supports data consistency, quality improvement, and interoperability across healthcare system in Canada.
