The Centre for Clinical Innovation in Digital Health (CIDH) is designed to engage clinical leaders and learners to drive the adoption of interoperability and improve connected care across Canada.

Aligned with the Shared Pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap (the Roadmap), the CIDH plays a key role in transforming Canada's healthcare system by:

  • Supporting clinician-led innovation in digital health.
  • Gathering feedback from clinicians to ensure digital healthcare meets the real-world needs of healthcare providers and patients.
  • Offering guidance and resources for clinicians to better understand and use digital health tools in their daily work.

By harnessing the expertise of clinical leaders, CIDH ensures that digital health solutions are practical, effective, and tailored to the realities of frontline healthcare providers.

Accelerating Clinical Leadership with the Connected Care Innovation Grant and Scholarship

The CIDH supports clinical leaders and students by offering financial incentives aligned with the Roadmap. By investing in clinical leaders and students, we are strengthening Canada's healthcare infrastructure, ensuring it remains adaptive to evolving needs while improving care delivery for all who live in Canada.
